An integrated economic city being developed over 51.6 million sqm in Barka, Sultanate of Oman, KEC will include an inland dry port, free zone with tax benefits, logistics and warehousing facilities, industrial, commercial, residential and mixed-use developments.
Meras has been engaged at the pre-tender stage to perform due diligence to the complete tender document. Our scope of work has reduced costs and risks for the client at this prestigious and important project and we have been selected as a strategic partner to deliver the complete infrastructure works under a framework agreement for all their future infrastructure works.
Sohar
Women & Children’s Hospital
With a built-up area of 10,420 sqm, this hospital will provide vital healthcare in the Sohar area. Meras was engaged to provide a comprehensive review and assessment of the pre-tender document. The review resulted in substantial revisions to the tender document addressing various deficiencies and saving the client significant expenses. We were then selected to handle the Project Management services under the metrics of Quality, Cost and Time.

Rayhaan by Rotana is a four-star hotel located at Al Mouj. Meras LLC was engaged by the main contractor to provide Construction Management ‘intervention’ Services to deliver the core and shell.

Oman’s first and the region’s largest integrated red meat company, ABMC has been established to provide food security and self-sufficiency in the Sultanate of Oman. We have been appointed by ABMC as the Client Representative for the project.
Trenching
Services
Specializing in hard rock, dirt and sand trenching, V2 Trenching is a Meras division with a fleet of trenchers capable of digging trenches with a width of 14 – 96 inches and depths of up to 35 feet. The division has proven capabilities in digging trenches for oil and gas as well as infrastructure including sewer and water lines, telecommunications and dry utilities. Clients include PDO, Occidental, Oxy, OGC, BP, ORPIC, PAEW, and many more.
